YOUTH REINING

The VRHA promotes, encourages and develops youth membership from ages ten years and under
through to eighteen years of age. The VRHA's objective is to support youth membership, both individually and through group participation in the competition of reining.

VRHA look forward to growing and expanding youth membership. Youth reiners are the future of reining in Australia.

Through participation in a VRHA Youth membership, members will develop not only riding skills and knowledge of reining but the opportunity to build social skills and develop character, responsibility and consideration for others.

Reining is a sport where both female and male members can participate equally whilst having fun together during competition, training and social events.

YOUTH REINING CATEGORIES

Youth Reining competition is offered in the following categories at reining shows:

  • Youth 10 years & Under Short Stirrup

  • Youth 13 years & Under

  • Youth 14 - 18 years
